Lotus House

After many years of developing the agricultural work at Blissful Gardens, we are finally ready to construct a central building that will serve as the administrative hub of the project. Many people have been contributing to the planning of this construction for several years. We are very grateful for their efforts!

The house will serve as a residence for administrative staff, as well as the office for local social service programs and for the entire project. Several kinds of training as well will be held: spiritual lifestyle, agricultural and health programs, etc.  Classes will be provided on a diverse array of topics.

Volunteers will be able to stay at the house and women will be invited to come for personal retreats – including yoga and meditation instruction, healthy food, and time in nature.

A pre-fabricated Deltec house structure was purchased in February. Once completed, the house will be approximately 2,700 sq. ft. It will include a living room, kitchen, dining area, 3 bedrooms, 1 office, 2.5 bathrooms, a large hall, 2 decks and a basement.

We are requesting public support for this inspiring project through contributions of funds, materials and/or volunteer work. Half of the construction costs have already been raised, but we still require US$80,000 in order to complete the house.
